Research groups

Currently, our Institute is made up of a small department called "Agrobiotechnology" that is broken down into five research groups:

• Plant Biotechnology
• Microbial Biofilm
• Microbial Bioinsecticides
• Plant Physiology and Agrobiology
• Carbohydrate Metabolism
• Animal Health

The six research groups are grouped together in the department of "Agrobiotechnology" in an attempt to create synergies among the different research areas, as can be seen on the figure below.
